Privacy Policy

By using DisseSim, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you should not use our services.


Acceptance of the Privacy Policy

By creating an account or using DisseSim, you declare that you have read, understood and agreed to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you are using the services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you declare that you have the authority to bind that entity to these documents.


1. What Data We Collect and From Whom

DisseSim collects personal data from three groups of data subjects: Couples, Guests and Suppliers. The data below includes, but is not limited to:

1.1. Bride and Grooms Information

Registration Information:

  1. Full Name;
  2. Email Address;
  3. Password (stored in encrypted form ? never in plain text);
  4. Phone Number;
  5. Address;
  6. Wedding Date.

Wedding Website Content:

  1. Couples Story, texts and customizations;
  2. Album photos and other media sent;
  3. Information about the ceremony and reception location;
  4. Information about groomsmen, bridesmaids and page boys.

Financial Information (List of Gifts):

  1. Pix key or bank details required for receiving cash gifts;
  2. This information is entered by the couple on the platform and used exclusively to enable the receipt of contributions from guests.

1.2. Guest Information

  1. Full Name;
  2. Attendance Status (confirmed or absent);
  3. Email and/or phone number;
  4. Optional messages or notes left for the Bride and Groom;
  5. Browsing data when accessing the wedding website (as per item 1.4 below).

1.3. Supplier Data

  1. Full name of the responsible party;
  2. Company name and CNPJ (when applicable);
  3. Business email address and phone number;
  4. Description of services, photos, prices and other profile information;
  5. Payment data related to the contracting of DisseSim plans (processed by a partner payment provider).
  6. Browsing data of any visitor to the DisseSim website who is not a registered user.

1.4. Usage and Navigation Data

We automatically collect platform interaction data from all users, including:

  1. Pages visited, browsing time and clicks;
  2. Browser type, IP address and operating system;
  3. Cookies and similar technologies (detailed in Section 7).

This data is obtained in two environments:

  1. DisseSim Platform (dissesim.com): where DisseSim services and Supplier profiles are located ? collected from Couples, Suppliers and visitors.
  2. Couples wedding websites: subdomains or pages created by the Couples ? collected from Guests and visitors.

2. Purposes of Processing

DisseSim processes personal data for the following purposes:

Operate and maintain the platform services
It allows couples to create and publish their website, manage the album, gift registry, and RSVP; and that Suppliers maintain their profiles active and promote their services.
Legal basis: contract execution (article 7, V of the LGPD).

Processing Gift Registry payments
Uses the couples financial data to facilitate the receipt of monetary contributions from their guests.
Legal basis: contract execution (article 7, V of the LGPD).

Communication and notifications
Sending notifications about the account, platform updates, and information relevant to the wedding or the Suppliers profile.
Legal basis: contract execution and legitimate interest of the controller (article 7, V and IX of the LGPD).

Continuous platform improvement
Usage analysis, error identification, development of new features, and improvements to existing resources.
Legal basis: legitimate interest Controllers interest (Article 7, IX of the LGPD).

Security and fraud prevention
Protection of accounts and the platform against fraudulent or unauthorized activities.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller and compliance with legal obligation (Article 7, II and IX of the LGPD).

User support
Responding to questions, complaints and requests for technical support.
Legal basis: execution of contract (Article 7, V of the LGPD).

Performance analysis via Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used to measure platform performance and understand aggregated browsing behavior. This tool is enabled by default, but you can disable it at any time through the cookie preferences panel or your browser settings.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 7, IX of the LGPD), balanced with the rights of the data subjects.


3. How We Share Your Data

DisseSim does not sell personal data to third parties, including Suppliers registered on the platform. We only share data in the following situations:

Between Couple and Guests:
The content published by the Couple on the wedding website is visible to everyone who accesses the site. Guest RSVP information is shared with the Couple for event organization.

With Service Providers (sub-operators):
We hire third-party companies to assist us in operating the platform, such as hosting services, email providers, payment processors, and analytics tools (including Google Analytics). These providers only have access to the data necessary for their functions, are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of the data, and may not use it for their own purposes.

For Compliance with the Law:
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or competent authority, or when necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, or respond to legitimate government requests.

With Your Consent:
In any situation not foreseen in this Policy, we will request your express consent before sharing your data.


4. How We Protect Your Data

We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data, including:

  1. Encryption of sensitive data (passwords) at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS);
  2. Internal access controls, based on the principle of least privilege;
  3. Security monitoring and firewalls;
  4. Periodic training of the team on best practices for privacy and security.

No data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a security incident involving personal data, DisseSim will notify the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and the affected data subjects, as required by the LGPD.


5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the LGPD (article 18), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  1. Access: request confirmation of the existence of processing and access to the data we hold about you;
  2. Rectification: request the correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
  3. Anonymization, blocking, or deletion: of unnecessary or excessive data;
  4. Portability: request the transfer of your data to another service or product provider, upon express request;
  5. Deletion: request the deletion of data processed based on your consent, except when the law requires its maintenance;
  6. Information about sharing: know with which public and private entities DisseSim shares your data;
  7. Information about non-consent: be informed about the possibility of not providing consent and about the consequences of refusal;
  8. Revocation of consent: revoke consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out previously;
  9. Review of automated decisions: request human review of decisions taken exclusively on the basis of automated processing that affect your interests.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, observing the following criteria:

  1. Account data of the Bride and Groom and Suppliers: retained while the account is active. After termination or cancellation, data will be deleted or anonymized within 12 months;
  2. Wedding website content: becomes unavailable immediately after cancellation and will be permanently deleted within 12 months;
  3. Financial data: kept for the period required by applicable tax and financial legislation (generally 5 years);
  4. Browsing data and access logs: kept for up to 6 (six) months, in accordance with the Brazilian Internet Civil Rights Framework (Law No. 12.965/2014);
  5. Data necessary for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations: kept for the period required by applicable legislation, even after account termination;
  6. Records of changes to data are kept for audit and security purposes.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

DisseSim uses cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience and analyze platform performance. Cookies are divided into the following categories:

Essential Cookies:
Necessary for the basic functioning of the platform (e.g., maintaining the session after login). They cannot be disabled without compromising the services operation.

Analytical Cookies (Google Analytics):
Google Analytics is used on any page of DisseSim and Wedding Sites to collect aggregated data about browsing behavior, such as pages visited and session time. These cookies are enabled by default, based on DisseSims legitimate interest in continuously improving the platform. You can disable them at any time through the cookie preferences panel or your browser settings.


8. International Data Transfer

Some of our service providers (such as hosting services and Google Analytics) may store or process data outside of Brazil. In these cases, DisseSim contractually requires these partners to adopt a level of data protection equivalent to that required by the LGPD, as per article 33 of Law No. 13.709/2018.


9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. For significant changes, we will notify users at least 30 (thirty) days in advance, by email or by prominent notice on the platform. The ?Last updated? date at the top of this document will always reflect the current version. We recommend that you review this page periodically.
